Actor David Boreanaz is a Diehard and Superstitious Eagles Fan

David Boreanaz and his son are die-hard Eagles fans who frequently participate in rituals to help the team win.

Actor David Boreanaz, a dedicated Eagles fan, is more than a little superstitious when it comes to supporting his team, writes Rosa Cartagena for The Philadelphia Inquirer

The star of Bones, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and SEAL Team has been a die-hard fan since he moved to Villanova from Buffalo, New York as a kid.

His father, 6abc weatherman Dave Roberts, brought him to Eagles training camp to meet the players. It was there that his love for the team and football began.

Even though the star now lives in California, his support for the Eagles has never wavered. He’s even made a point of including references to Philly sports teams in his shows.

Boreanaz and his son, Jaden, now share a love for the team and engage in rituals to guarantee a win.

The actor sits in his designated game chair, drinks a green cocktail, and holds a football as he watches from home.

When they traveled to New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX, the pair brought a dozen Eagles Jerseys and a souvenir mug from Super Bowl XV.

“We had to put them out and cleanse them with Florida water, and burn the incense,” the actor said. “It’s crazy. It is a lot of fun.”
