Suburban Square is preparing to welcome exciting new stores at Coulter Place, a mixed-used building currently under construction within Ardmore’s popular shopping center, writes Ariana Perez-Castells for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The development will bring 130 apartments to the area along with 19,000 square feet of commercial space. It is expected to be completed by next fall.

According to a new brochure from real estate firms MSC and Kimco Realty, the development has already attracted several prestigious retailers to the area.

The newcomers to Suburban Square will include Rhone, an apparel brand; New Balance, the well-known sneaker and athletic apparel company; and Sugared + Bronzed, a nationwide provider of hair removal and tanning services. Also arriving at Coulter Place are Skin Laundry, which offers laser facials; Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, known for its vegan options; The Beaufort Bonnet Co., a children’s apparel brand; and Rowan, a piercing studio.

Founded in 1928, Suburban Square is home to a diverse range of popular retailers, including Sephora, Gap, and West Elm. In 2005, the shopping center expanded to include Trader Joe’s and the Ardmore Farmers Market, followed by a large Urban Outfitters location soon after.
