Nursing Assistants are a High Priority Occupation (HPO) in Chester County, with a projected growth of 8.9 percent between 2020-2030.

Launch your healthcare career in just four months by enrolling in Delaware County Community College’s (DCCC) Nurse Aide Program, a 133-hour intensive course that prepares students for employment in acute care, acute rehab, hospice, home healthcare, and long-term care facilities.

The Nurse Aide Program is conveniently located in southern Chester County at Delaware County Community College’s Pennocks Bridge Center, a state-of-the-art facility positioned within the Technical College High School in West Grove (280 Pennocks Bridge Rd, West Grove).

This rigorous program offers training led by expert instructors with regional experience, career connections, and insights. It is coupled with 60 hours of required hands-on clinical experience, and students completing the program are well-suited to compete for these high-demand, HPO jobs in our region.

Students will earn six college credits, learn from expert instructors, and may also qualify for financial aid. Students completing the course are encouraged to take the Nurse Aide Competency Exam with credential to be a Nurse Aide placed on the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry.
