At one time, Beth Silverberg, owner of the Exceptional Finds jewelry showroom in Wayne, was among the best poker players in the world.

Her cutthroat professional poker style had her on ESPN broadcasts and at two World Series of Poker final tables. Her poker career earnings totaled about $500,000.

Today, she’s a wholesome grandmother curating a stunning collection of limited jewelry pieces, writes  Ben Silver for Main Line Today.

Her poker winnings helped her support her true passion: shoes and jewelry.

“I love jewelry and I know jewelry. So it just made sense to me to do what I love,” Silverberg said.

Exceptional Finds has been open for several months now, a change in scenery from her former storefront in Bryn Mawr.

Her business is more secluded and exclusive, upstairs at the 101 East building on Lancaster Ave. Customers come by appointment only.

Silverberg’s connections with manufacturers and designers gives her a collection unmatched in the region.

“I got Spinelli Kilcollin, who I love. I have Graziella, which I’m wearing, which is from Brazil, and they’re beautiful. I mean, sapphires, emeralds, diamonds, they float. So I have them. I have Loquet London…” Silverberg said.
