Penn State Brandywine's Homecoming and Family Day features a free lunch, activities, games, and a chance to watch the Penn State Brandywine women’s soccer team play against Lancaster Bible College on campus.

Penn State Brandywine will host its annual Homecoming & Family Day from 11 AM to 5 PM on Saturday, Oct. 26, writes Christina Billiemam for Penn State Brandywine.

Starting with Penn State Day in the morning, Homecoming & Family Day will be packed with alumni, current and prospective students, families, faculty and staff participating in various activities.

High school students considering attending Penn State Brandywine are invited to attend an Admissions Open House on the Media campus during Penn State Day from 9:30 AM to Noon.

Prospective students and their families will learn about the University’s admissions process, the campus’ many academic, athletic, and student involvement opportunities, and will take a tour of the campus.

An informational Q & A takes place 10 to 10:45 AM, followed by a faculty and staff fair and self-guided campus tours 10:45 AM to 12: 15 PM.

Reservations are required for these sessions and they tend to fill quickly, so make your plans and act soon.

The free Homecoming & Family Day includes a complimentary lunch with a fall-themed menu, Penn State Berkey Creamery ice cream, carnival games, face painting, a magic act, caricature artists, tie-dye and more.

Attendees will also be able to watch the Penn State Brandywine women’s soccer team play against Lancaster Bible College on campus.

“Homecoming brings together a wide variety of groups – students, families, faculty, staff and alumni – who share a connection to the Brandywine community. It’s a unique opportunity to celebrate both the history and future of our campus while enjoying a fun and inclusive event,” said Dana Hallahan, assistant director of alumni relations. “The day fosters meaningful connections and provides space for everyone to come together and celebrate their Penn State pride.”

Following the homecoming activities, Brandywine Benefitting THON will host luxury bag bingo in the Commons/Athletic Center gymnasium to raise funds for childhood cancer research. Cost to attend is $30 per person with extra bingo sheets available for $10.

Attendees must register for Homecoming & Family Day ahead of the event. Penn State Brandywine is located at 25 Yearsley Mill Road in Media, Pennsylvania.
