Dunwoody Village announces that several of its dedicated team members have recently been awarded scholarships and have been selected for leadership development opportunities.

These achievements highlight the commitment to excellence, education, and professional growth by both the individuals and the organization.

The recipients of these scholarships and leadership programs come from various departments, reflecting the diverse talent and dedication across the entire Dunwoody Village community. These opportunities enable team members to further their education, develop new skills, and take on greater responsibilities within the organization.

The scholarships are granted to staff members of LeadingAge PA member organizations statewide, supporting the pursuit of various degrees, certifications, and continuing education opportunities.

Applicants were evaluated and selected based on submitted personal statements, professional references, and a demonstrated commitment to advancing careers within aging services.

This five-month in-depth experiential learning opportunity is given to current and emerging senior leaders in organizations that embrace Quaker values of presence, connection and listening.

Every year, Dunwoody Village and the Dunwoody Village Residents’ Association partner to provide scholarships to team members pursuing higher education.

“We are so proud of the team members who have earned these scholarships and professional development opportunities,” said Curt Sayers, Director of Human Resources at Dunwoody Village. “Dunwoody Village truly believes in supporting our employees’ development and these awards are a testament to our commitment to nurturing talent within our organization.

“Their achievements reflect their dedication to personal and professional growth – and we hope that they serve as the foundation for careers in long-term care. Dunwoody Village — and our industry as a whole — will certainly benefit from these talented people.”
