Experience the Magic of the Philadelphia Folk Festival as a First-Time Attendee
The Philadelphia Folk Festival welcomes new attendees and four additional performers to its iconic grounds at the Old Pool Farm.
The Festival is offering special discounts for all first-time attendees, including college students who want to attend for the first-time. These special discounts are aimed at welcoming newcomers of all ages to the Festival and are available from Jul. 1-7.
To add to the already stacked lineup, the Festival will welcome Theo Kandel, Turtle Ridge, Dylan Zangwell, and Jackson Pines. These performers will join the long list of already announced performers, including John Oates on Saturday evening, the dynamic Philadelphia-based group Gangstagrass on Friday night, and Tony Trishka, who will be performing “Tony Trischka’s EarlJam – A Tribute to Earl Scruggs,” on Sunday.
With multiple stages hosting a diverse range of folk acts, craft vendors offering unique treasures, and impromptu jam sessions under the starlit sky, the Philadelphia Folk Festival promises an unforgettable weekend of music, community, and friends.
For those experiencing the Fest for the first time, the festival is introducing the “First on the 1st” promotion, rolling out the red carpet for newcomers. All first-time attendees, regardless of age, can enjoy these limited-time discounts, ranging from 25 to 50 percent off the price of select entry tickets and day passes.
Promotion Details:
· 25 percent off on tickets: First-time attendees use the promo code FIRSTTIMER to receive a 25 percent discount on All Festival or All Festival + Camping tickets.
· 25 percent off day passes: First-time attendees can get an extra 25 percent off day passes from Jul. 1-7 using the promo code DAYPASS25.
· 50 percent off for college students: College students attending the festival for the first time can use the promo code COLLEGE50 to receive a 50 percent discount on All Festival or All Festival + Camping tickets. A valid student ID is required.
These offers cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions. Promo codes are case-sensitive, in all caps, and have no spaces. Quantities are limited, so act fast to secure your spot at this year’s festival.
Tickets are now on “Last Call,” and the final sale level before gate prices will apply on Aug. 15. The Festival offers a range of ticket options, from individual day passes to the VIP Camping experience. Add-on tickets are available for reserved parking or tram cart shuttle services throughout the weekend.

All Festival Ticket: Grants access to all music performances, stages, vendors, and activities throughout the weekend.
All Festival + Camping Ticket: Includes all the benefits of the All Festival ticket, plus a campsite, early access to the festival grounds on Thursday at 10:00 AM to set up camp, exclusive entry to the Thursday night kickoff performance on the Camp stage, and late departure on Monday at 11:00 AM.
