Upper Darby Under 30 Entrepreneur is a Summer Stager Vet
Upper Darby High School alum Barbara DelleMonache has been named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 for creating Curl Vitality, her subscription service and coaching business on curly hair care, writes Kathleen E. Carey for the Daily Times.
The 2012 Upper Darby High graduate and former Upper Darby Summer Stage performer now lives in Mullica Hill, New Jersey, but her roots run deep in Upper Darby.
She attended St. Andrew School in Drexel Hill before heading to Drexel Hill Middle School and Upper Darby High.
Upper Darby High School’s diversity gave her the social skills she needed to work with different types of people, she said.
DelleMonache’s business focuses on curly-haired women who want to test new haircare products before committing to full-size bottles.
“She has leveraged her popularity on TikTok (followers: 900,000) to grow the company to projected revenues of $1.2 million in 2023,.” Forbes wrote.
The Forbes recognition of her business has been a dream come true.
“The moment I found out that I was on the Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list, I screamed in my kitchen at 7:14 in the morning so loud that it woke my husband up,” DelleMonache said.
