The empty Lord & Taylor space in the King of Prussia Mall may soon have a new occupant: Netflix House, writes Emma Dooling for Philadelphia Business Journal.

Netflix has created some pop-up experiences such as the “Strangers Things Experience” and the “The Queen’s Ball: A Bridgerton Experience,” but this would be one of the first brick-and-mortar locations.

“This isn’t a place that folks are going to travel to once a year,” Brent Nikolin, senior program manager for Netflix’s live experience team said during a presentation for the Upper Merion Township Planning Commission.

“We want to be in the communities. We want to be in city centers. We want to be in great malls like King of Prussia where people come over and over again.”

Depending on final approval from the township, Netflix could open the venue in late 2025.

Preliminary plans for the Netflix House include two large experience rooms and a theater on the first floor.

Up on the second floor will be two smaller experience rooms and a marketplace.
