‘Mare of Easttown’ Sequel Filming in Ridley, According to Officials
A film production company is in Ridley filming what seems to be a “Mare of Easttown” sequel, according to Ridley officials.
The film production company that created “Mare of Easttown” received a special events permit from Ridley Township Commissioners Wednesday night to film a new series at Our Lady of Peace School on Milmont Avenue this week, writes Pete Bannon for the Daily Times.
The production is called “Task,” and film crews will be in town all day Friday and Sunday night into Monday at Our Lady of Peace school, according to Ridley Township Manager Joseph Ryan.
No streets will be closed, but trailers and equipment will be on location. A police officer will be on site.
Ryan described “Task” as a follow-up to “Mare of Easttown” by the same production company, Random Productions LLC.
The series also comes from “Mare” creators Brad Ingelsby and Jeremiah Zagarand and reportedly will star Mark Ruffalo as a “complicated” FBI agent from Philadelphia.
