Immaculata University is expanding its partnership with Thomas Jefferson University to provide Immaculata undergraduate students with pathways to Jefferson master’s programs in historic preservation and real estate development. Additionally, Immaculata students who are admitted into the master’s programs as full-time graduate students will receive an annual $5,000 Dean’s Scholarship from Jefferson.

The Master of Science in Real Estate Development program, delivered in in-person and hybrid formats, focuses on real estate development in Philadelphia. The curriculum covers issues in environmental sustainability, social consciousness, design excellence, financial feasibility, and economic viability. Immaculata undergraduate students pursuing business degrees are a solid match for this master’s program.

Jefferson’s in-person Master of Science in Historic Preservation program focuses on the conservation and rehabilitation of the existing built environment. Immaculata undergraduate students studying history, English or liberal arts are encouraged to apply.

“We are grateful to be expanding our partnership with Jefferson University,” stated Angela Tekely, Ed.D., Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Immaculata University. “Immaculata’s undergraduate students have a wonderful opportunity to study emerging fields that can impact society in myriad ways.”

“We are very pleased to expand our enrollment partnerships with Immaculata University to include our M.S. programs in historic preservation and real estate development,” said Matt Dane Baker, PA-C, DHSc, provost at Jefferson. “These programs will provide graduate education opportunities for Immaculata students from a wide range of their undergraduate programs, and we know that the rigor and depth of their Immaculata education will make them strong students and valuable assets to our programs.”

Thomas Jefferson University, founded in 1824 as the Jefferson Medical College, is today a national doctoral research university and a pioneer in transdisciplinary, professional education.
