Here are a few suggestions where you can celebrate the Delaware County Irish spirit on St. Patrick's Day.

If you’re looking to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this year, the Delaware County Irish spirit is alive and well, writes Kalena Thomhave for The Keystone.

On March 17 and beyond, here’s how you can celebrate your or someone else’s Irish heritage.

The Irish Coffee Shop – Upper Darby

Take in an authentic and traditional Irish breakfast each morning at this café and grocery store in Upper Darby.

The breakfast has beans, eggs, tomatoes, potatoes, black pudding and more.

Traditional Irish favorites will be served for lunch and dinner, and of course, there will be St. Patrick’s Day specials.

Monaghan’s Irish Pub – Essington

This community bar in Essington is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day all day with music, food, and other entertainment.

The bar is also host to other events in March, including a kid-friendly version of Paddy’s Day.

This week, you can prep for the big day by heading to Monaghan’s St. Practice Day party.

Cawley’s Irish Pub—Upper Darby

Philadelphia Magazine also recommends Cawley’s Irish Pub in Upper Darby. This low-key place of Irish tradition serves great ham and cabbage every Tuesday. It’ll be a special on St. Patrick’s Day as well.
