Widener University open house events introduce prospective students to the university.

A Widener University open house invites prospective undergraduate students to a number of events rolling out over the next several weeks. Students can engage with faculty, staff, and current students during information sessions, campus tours, one-on-one meetings, and academic panel discussions.

They can also see and sample food options offered on campus in the Pride Café.

The events include:

Open House Day, Saturday, March 2 – This welcoming event is for any future undergraduate student looking to explore their higher education options who wants to learn more about Widener, its culture of belonging, its programs, people, and campus. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and registration is available online.

Admitted Students Days:

Saturday, March 23, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sunday, April 14., 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
These high-energy events are designed for students who have applied and gained undergraduate admission and are still considering their plans. Widener also welcomes students who have decided they will enroll and want to spend time previewing their future at Widener and making connections to support a strong start in the fall. Registration is available online at widener.edu/asd.

Widener University is located in Chester and offers more than 40 majors and 50 minors that can put students on the inside track to successful careers. From nursing to business to robotics engineering and more, Widener’s faculty and staff develop mentoring relationships and promote personal growth in an atmosphere of belonging.

Widener students can also participate in Division III athletics, student-organized clubs, faculty-mentored research projects, internships, co-op opportunities, and civic and global engagement opportunities.

Widener students spend their days on a beautiful 110-acre campus just 20 minutes from center city of Philadelphia. Visit widener.edu to learn more, including how to arrange a tour, and experience why many students consider the university community a second family and the Chester campus their home away from home.

To learn more about other upcoming events for incoming and prospective students, visit widener.edu/events or email an admissions counselor at admissions.office@widener.edu.
