Kiddo is a Washington Square restaurant with a focus on sustainability.

USA Today recently asked a panel of food and travel experts to nominate their 20 favorite new restaurants to open in the past year.

From there, readers voted on their top picks to determine the top 10, and a Philadelphia restaurant can be found in the middle of that list.

Kiddo is ranked at the No. 5 spot on the list.

Located in Washington Square West, Kiddo is a restaurant that features vegetable-focused cuisine made with seasonal produce.

Menu options range from spinach and ricotta rotolo to coriander-crusted duck breast with pear, sorrel, and hazelnuts.

For brunch, customers can indulge in something like sourdough Dutch baby pancakes with pears and maple syrup.

Opened last year, Kiddo is co-owned by husband and wife duo Wyatt Piazza and Elizabeth Drake

Sustainability is a key concept at Kiddo as Piazza and Drake strive to be stewards of the environment while feeding its customers.
