Aqua Pennsylvania is replacing approximately 6,200 feet of aging water mains in Radnor Township. The company is upgrading aging water mains with ductile iron water mains, which are more durable and comprised of nearly 90 percent recycled materials.

This investment is part of Aqua’s continuing infrastructure improvement program to replace decades-old water and wastewater infrastructure around the country. The new water mains will reduce the potential for main breaks and discolored water and will improve water flow for customers in Delaware County.

Crews are completing the work on the following streets:

·         Conestoga Road between County Line Road and South Lowrys Lane/Strathmore Drive.

·         Brooklea Road between Meadowood Road and Hickory Lane

·         Fairfax Road between Hickory Lane and Fairfax Road near Hickory Lane.

Aqua’s main replacement work contributes to the company’s overarching commitment to providing quality, reliable drinking water, and safe wastewater solutions to customers.
