Bonner Prendergast Catholic escapes Pope John Paul II in thin win

By

Bonner Prendergast Catholic topped Pope John Paul II 21-13 in a tough tilt during this Pennsylvania football game on Nov. 18.

The start wasn’t the problem for Pope John Paul II, as it began with a 7-0 edge over Bonner Prendergast Catholic through the end of the first quarter.

Each offense authored its Rip Van Winkle imitation, napping through barren second and third quarters.

The Golden Panthers had the advantage to start the final quarter, but the Friars won the session and the game with a 21-6 performance.
