Springfield takes down Henderson

Springfield unleashed a high-powered offensive show to knock off Henderson 48-14 Friday in Pennsylvania high school football on Nov. 3.

Springfield opened with a 13-0 advantage over Henderson through the first quarter.

The Cougars’ offense roared in front for a 40-7 lead over the Warriors at the intermission.

Neither team could dent the scoreboard in the third quarter.

The Cougars held on with an 8-7 scoring edge in the final quarter.

In recent action on Oct. 20, Springfield faced off against Upper Darby.
