Springside Chestnut Hill edges past Episcopal in tough test

By

Springside Chestnut Hill topped Episcopal 24-21 in a tough tilt on Nov. 3 in Pennsylvania football action.

The Blue Devils’ offense darted in front for a 14-7 lead over the Churchmen at halftime.

Each offense authored its Rip Van Winkle imitation, napping through barren first and third quarters.

The Blue Devils chalked up this decision in spite of the Churchmen’s spirited fourth-quarter performance.

Recently on Oct. 20, Episcopal squared off with William Penn Charter in a football game.
