Pope John XXIII Regional posts win at Episcopal’s expense

Pope John XXIII Regional collected a solid win over Episcopal in a 28-17 verdict in a Pennsylvania high school football matchup on Sept. 23.

The first quarter gave Pope John XXIII Regional a 7-3 lead over Episcopal.

The Lions opened a close 16-3 gap over the Churchmen at halftime.

Both teams were shutout in the third quarter.

The Churchmen outpointed the Lions 14-12 in the fourth quarter, but it was not enough to close the gap.

Recently on Sept. 15, Episcopal squared off with Hill in a football game.
