Springfield escapes Conestoga in thin win

Springfield finally found a way to top Conestoga 14-7 in a Pennsylvania high school football matchup on Sept. 8.

The Pioneers moved ahead by earning a 7-0 advantage over the Cougars at the end of the second quarter.

Both teams were shutout in the first and third quarters.

The Pioneers had the advantage to start the fourth quarter, but the Cougars won the session and the game with a 14-0 performance.
