Delaware County’s Moving Into High Gear With Fall Activities, Events

Now that fall is here, check out the various Delaware County fall activities happening in September and October.

Now that the calendar has officially recognized Fall, there’s plenty of seasonal activity happening in Delaware County, writes Sam Stewart for 6abc.

Linvilla Orchards in Media is a favorite for Delaware County Fall activities.

Customers will find plenty of pumpkins in Pumpkinland, which started Sept. 16 and continues to Nov. 5. 

Younger children can take a non-frightening hayride to the Witch’s House to hear stories, ending with a campfire, cider, and marshmallows.

There are also harvest hayrides through the fields during the day and autumn moon hayrides at night, followed by a campfire with marshmallows and apple cider.

Arasapha Farms in Glen Mills offers a harvest hayride weekend from Sept. 23 to Oct. 29. There are plenty of other activities for families as well.. For the latest information, visit Harvest Hayride at Arasapha Farm.

Arasapha also has the Bates Motel and Haunted Hayride, which runs Sept. 22 to Oct. 31. It’s been cited nationally as the best-haunted house in America. This year, you can try your hand at axe throwing.

Coming up on Sept. 30 is Fall for Ardmore, which features a VIP Beer Garden. The downtown comes to life with shopping, food, beer, live music, and family activities.
