A woman looking for work in Delaware County might want to consider submitting a resume to SAP in Newtown Square, or perhaps Wawa.

Forbes has listed the international software company SAP in its top 100 best places in America for women employees. SAP maintains its U.S headquarters in Newtown Square.

SAP joined three other Greater Philadelphia companies clearing the top 100, coming in at 65, writes Mikhial Clarke for Philadelphia Business Journal.

SAP, with 3,500 employees in the U.S., offers childcare benefits, paid volunteer time, and commuter benefits, according to its website. The company has also incorporated diversity and inclusion in its hiring practices.

Wawa also placed on Forbes’ list, but much further down, at 363.

The highest-ranking firm from Greater Philadelphia to offer a favorable environment for women employees was the Newark-based W.I. Gore & Associates, ranking 23rd.

Others included Blue Bell-based Unisys at 63; and Camden-headquartered NFI Industries at No. 68.

Over 60,000 workers were surveyed, 40,000 of them women.  They were asked to rate companies based on work environment, salary, and employee diversity.

Women were also asked about pay equity, parental leave policies, gender diversity, flexibility, career advancement and training opportunities, representation of women in upper management, and how employers responded to discrimination.
