The housing market in 2022 came in like a lion and went out like a lamb but that didn’t stop people from checking out the wealthiest properties around, including one in Delaware County, writes Ryan Mulligan for Philadelphia Business Journal.

The Philadelphia region saw 261 million-dollar home sales through the first quarters of 2022, according to research from Drexel University’s Lindy Institute for Urban Innovation.

In fact, from the fourth quarter of 2021 to the second quarter of 2022, the region set three consecutive records for the most million-dollar home sales in a quarter.

In Delaware County, it was 408 Barbara Lane in Bryn Mawr that got the most attention.

The 12,000-square-foot Main Line Tudor revival was owned by Lindy Snider and her husband, Dr. Larry Kaiser, former CEO of Temple University Health System.

Lindy Snider is the daughter of late Philadelphia Flyers owner Ed Snider.

The property listed in March for $5 million. The home, sitting on a 2.89-acre parcel known as Littlefield Farm, was built in 1912.

The eight-bedroom home includes a 9,000-bottle wine cellar, a pool, a guest house, and a two-car carriage house with guest suite.
