Child Guidance Resource Centers, headquartered in Havertown, is launching a series of virtual community round tables to discuss ways to bring anti-racism, safety, and mental health to our communities in Delaware, Chester, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties.

These round tables, called the Child Guidance Neighborhood Safety Solutions Initiative, provides a space for all neighborhoods to hear from and ask questions to elected officials, community leaders, school representatives, clergy, and others.

The focus is on collaborative, inclusive change.

The hope is to better understand the needs of our neighborhoods and find ways we can work together to build better communities.

The first Initiative in Upper Darby is scheduled for Friday, March 5, at 9:30 a.m.

Guests include Mayor Barbarann Keffer, School Directors Damien Warsavage, and Ed Brown, and Executive Director of Multicultural Community Family Services Portia Kamara.

Conversations will focus on mental health, anti-racism, diversity, and creating safe equitable communities.

To learn more about this initiative or to register, email info@cgrc.org.

Roundtable panel discussions will take place quarterly in different communities.
