Acts Retirement-Life Communities Partners with WilmU to Offer Employees Enhanced Educational Opportunities
Acts Retirement-Life Communities will partner with Wilmington University to offer employees the chance to pursue online undergraduate or advanced degrees.
The largest not-for-profit owner, operator, and developer of continuing care retirement communities in the U.S., Fort Washington-based Acts will offer tuition reimbursement to employees wishing to pursue any of WilmU’s 200-plus online undergraduate and graduate degree programs, including several online offerings in nursing, and its MBA, with concentrations in healthcare, human resources, or technology.
“We are excited to partner with Wilmington University on this initiative, which enhances our ability to provide educational and training opportunities for our employees to further their education and career,” said Jo Anne Hartman, Managing Director of Acts Corporate University, the company’s training department that offers degree certification, scholarships, and training programs ranging from trade skills education to advanced business and healthcare degrees.
