There’s a delicious new eatery hanging out with an outstanding line up of pastries, cookies, and cakes at the former Chadds Cafe, 1609 Baltimore Pike in Chadds Ford, writes Melissa Jacobs for Main Line Today.

OSO Sweet Bakery Cafe is the culinary creation of pastry chef Tess Wofford.

Wofford is a a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America.

Opening now in a pandemic?

Wofford responds, “But this is exactly where I’m supposed to be.”

So here’s what awaits the hungry visitor.

There’s breakfast puff pastries made with sausage, egg and cheese, or a version of a Philly cheeseteak.

For cookies, try salted chocolate chip, peanut butter Oreo, oatmeal-pecan-chocolate chip and pudding (strawberry-white chocolate chip and cookies-and-cream).

A lemon blueberry scone is a holdover from the previous Chadds Cafe.

“Turns out it was a secret recipe,” says Wofford. “But the pastry chef was kind enough to share it with me.”
