Public Asked to Join Commission That Would Address Environment, Sustainability Issues in Delaware County

By

Delaware County is looking for residents to serve on a Sustainability Commission that would offer best practices for environmental conservation, open space preservation, trail building and sustainability.

Delaware County Council voted in February to create the Delaware County Sustainability Commission and now is looking for volunteer members.

The Commission would examine these sustainability issues and made recommendations for best practices to Council.

The Commission is comprised of eight members of senior management from the County and nine members of the public with expertise in environmental issues and open space.

Applications are now being accepted. Click here to find out more details and how to apply.
