Only 12 new positive cases of COVID-19 were reported for Delaware County on Wednesday, June 10. There were 10 COVID-19-related deaths, according to data from the Chester County Health Department.
That brings the total number of cases in the county to 6,811 and the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 662. Of those, 515 were in long term care facilities and personal care homes.

The county now has 54.7 new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 over 14 days per 1,000 people. That number is down nearly five points from June 9. The target case number is 50 as part of the criteria to move to a green phase of reopening.

Yeadon Borough continues to have the highest percentage of population being affected by the virus. It has 408 cases, affecting 3.56 percent of its 11,471 population.
Upper Darby continues to have the most cases, at 1,073, affecting 1.29 percent of Upper Darby’s 82,993 population.

There are 290 cases still under investigation, to which no municipality has been assigned.
The county has had 26,126 people test negative for the virus. The health department is reporting a 73 percent recovery rate.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed as of midnight, June 10, that there are 410 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 76,846.
There are 6,062 total deaths attributed to COVID-19, an increase of 48 new deaths.
