Nutritional Host

This position delivers and collects patient trays during meal service; assists patients with ordering their meals via room service or traditional style dining; makes rounds after tray delivery to ensure patient satisfaction; and identifies and reports all meal service-related problems.

The ideal candidate will possess one year of food service experience in a health care environment; effective communication skills, including English language literacy and fluency; effective interpersonal and customer service skills; and basic computer skills.

Specialty Team Coordinator – Operating Room

This position develops annual objectives for specialty service; monitors room turnover and case setup; adjusts staffing levels relative to patient flow and collaborates with OR Schedule Coordinator to make daily assignments based on expertise.

The ideal candidate will possess a Registered Nurse License and at least three years of recent Operating Room Nurse experience. Leadership experience as a Charge Nurse, Preceptor, Coordinator, or Manager is highly preferred.

Art Therapist

This position is responsible for assessing, planning, and providing art therapy, emotional support, and counseling for identified patients in the Cancer Center and hospital-wide. He/she will lead various support groups when needed, as well as individually designed interventions using art or music therapy treatment and/or verbal counseling for these patients and their caregivers. The person will record and communicate to other team members the results of these clinical approaches.

The ideal candidate will possess a master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapy; a registered board-certified Art Therapist and Pennsylvania State Counseling license; and (preferably) one year of experience in a medical setting.
