SBA Offers Financial Incentive for Small Businesses to Hold On to Employees

New resources are available to business owners affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The SBA has announced The Paycheck Protection Program, a loan designed to provide a direct
incentive for small businesses to keep their workers on the payroll.

The SBA will forgive loans if all employees are kept on the payroll for eight weeks and the money is used for payroll, rent, mortgage interest, or utilities.

The Paycheck Protection Program will be available through June 30, 2020. More information is available here.

The Delaware County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a webinar on Thursday, April 2, 9:30 a.m.  for business owners interested in learning more about funding programs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Food assistance

Food assistance is available to residents in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Schools and organizations across the County are providing grab and go meals to residents in need. An interactive map with locations and information about food assistance can be found here.
