If local restaurants are going to survive in a pandemic, they’re going to need your take out and delivery business. Now there’s two websites to connect you with them, writes Kathleen E. Carey for the Daily Times.

The Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, working with other county officials, have launched the “Delaware County Guide to Local Carry-Out Establishments.”

The site lists 139 restaurants so far with information about takeout, curbside or delivery, website, phone number, location and hours to the site. An interactive map and a restaurant list allows would-be customers to find restaurants nearby.

Restaurants can also visit the site to add their own information to the list.

Visit Delco PA also has a restaurant website. Customers can search  by town, such as Glen Mills or Havertown, or click on individual restaurant names for information.

Restaurants can submit information to contact@visitdelcopa.com to be included.

“The restaurant industry has experienced unprecedented hurdles with the state-mandated closure, but their innovation and incredible work ethic have resulted in new delivery services, curbside pick-up and takeout options to support all residents of Delaware County at this time,” Trish McFarland, president of the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, said.
