Delaware County School Districts Adapt to Closed Buildings and Students Stuck at Home

With students home and schools closed the rest of the academic year, Delaware County districts face a unique challenge to keep students educated and in the school loop, writes Richard Ilgenfritz for mainlinemedianews.com.

Springfield, Marple and Radnor School District continue to expand and adapt their online programming so students can learn at home.  

In Upper Darby, the goal is to stay flexible as students transition to virtual learning.

 “We are going to move forward with our plan to provide your students with the best education we can during this very challenging time. We have to continue to remain patient with one another and keep our lines of communication open and positive,” said Upper Darby Superintendent Dan McGarry.

Upper Darby is figuring out now how to hold a graduation ceremony in a pandemic.
