Sean Fisher, a 28-year-old musician with the Philly band The American Standard found a unique way to propose—on the TLA concert marquee, writes Gina Tomaine for phillymag.com.

There’s a reason the TLA marquee on South Street is so special for Sean and his bride-to-be, Morgan Sarton, 27.  TLA was the location of their first date.

The team at TLA helped him pull it off, with photography by John Michael of John Michael, I Am Photography capturing the moment of his proposal.

Sean was working at Rosemont College and Morgan was on a surgery clinical rotation in Upper Darby when they first met.  They ended up talking about music and hit it off.

“I always felt like it was hard to relate to other people’s taste in music, but ours matched up together perfectly,” Sean said.

They had their first date March 10 to see a show at the TLA but hung out in late February around Brigantine where she was living. They’ve talked every day ever since.

The couple dated for two and a half years before getting engaged.

A wedding is tentatively scheduled for fall of 2020.
