Chase Bank Celebrates New Upper Darby Branch With Grand Opening Sept. 27
Chase Bank has opened its newest branch at 101B S. 69th Street in Upper Darby.
A grand opening took place Friday, Sept. 27.
The branch reflects Chase Bank’s more comfortable approach to banking. It features a living-room style set up designed to make the space less intimidating and more welcoming.
Attending the grand opening to welcome Chase to the neighborhood were State Sen. Tim Kearney (D-26), State Rep. Margo Davidson (D-164)), and Upper Darby Councilman Sheikh Siddique (6th District). Chase Bank executives were also on hand to open the new branch.
This is the eighth Chase Bank branch opened in the Delaware Valley and the second in the Philadelphia suburbs, the other being in Villanova. Chase Bank operates nearly 5,000 branches.
Chase also has branches in Center City, Southern New Jersey and Wilmington, DE.
In September 2018, Chase announced it planned to open 50 branches and hire 300 employees in the region over the next five years. This expansion is part of the firm’s recent $20 billion five-year investment in its business, as it focuses on local economic growth across the nation.
