Woodlyn McDonald’s Upgrades With New Technology, Menu Items and Table Guest Service
The Hamburglar remains the same, but just about everything else has changed at the McDonald’s at 1253 MacDade Boulevard in Woodlyn, writes Peg DeGrassa for the Delaware County News Network.
The restaurant includes new technology and menu items, and an enhanced level of service for a more modern guest experience.
The Woodlyn site is the ninth in the county to undergo a compete transformation.
The changes reflect a new restaurant model rolled out in McDonald’s restaurants across the country and puts more choice and control in the hands of guests by evolving how they order, what they order, how they pay and how they are served.
There are digital self-order kiosks and orders are delivered to tables by crew members. The lobby was redone and the décor has a more modern look with comfortable seating and outlets to let guests plug in or recharge their devices.
“We appreciate and value our guests’ feedback on this new experience, and we’re looking forward to offering them a new way to dine at their local McDonald’s,” said Woodlyn owner Rich Doane.
A recent re-dedication ceremony included Ridley Township commissioners, Ridley School District officials, and community representatives.
