The Third Annual Havertown Irish Festival takes place Saturday, June 22, noon to 9 p.m., in the rear parking lot of the Manoa Shopping Center, 1305 West Chester Pike in Havertown, reports havertownirishfestival.com

Widely referred to as the 33rd County of Ireland, the rain or shine Havertown celebration will feature all things Irish in music, dance, food, crafts, and culture.

The Festival is presented by Kelly Music for Life. Proceeds benefit local music programs, food banks and an initiative to open a performance and art venue in Haverford Township.

Admission is free with a $3 per person donation suggested.

For the kids, there will be a Fun Zone with inflatables, a Giant Slide, Bungee, Bounce House and Obstacle Course.

The Irish Festival Pub will sell beer and wine inside the Festival Marketplace.

The Festival opens at noon with a procession of local dignitaries led by the 2019 Grand Marshal, John Stretch of Stretch Funeral Homes, and the Philadelphia Emerald Society Pipe Band.

Irish music and dance will be presented throughout the day featuring Shades of Green, Firefly Dancers, Dylan McGuire, Owen Luebbers Irish Dance, Poehemia, Brian Boru Pipes & Drums, John Byrne Band and the Scott McClatchy Band.
