Surrey Services for Seniors invites you to help one of the most vulnerable populations in the community: senior citizens.

The award-winning nonprofit – which provides services, transportation, and meals to the elderly – is hosting its annual Gala and Auction, entitled “Under the Tuscan Sun,” on May 11 at the Philadelphia Country Club in Gladwyne.

All proceeds from the elegant evening will benefit older adults.

This year, Surrey has opened its silent auction early to anyone who would like to bid on an array of fabulous items. Highlights from the silent auction include a diamond pendant necklace and an authentic, “The Philly Special” football signed by Nick Foles and Trey Burton.

Visitors also can purchase raffle tickets for a seven-day Holland America cruise to various locations. Only 250 raffle tickets will be sold. Click here to bid on an item or purchase raffle tickets.

Proceeds will help older adults, especially those living below the poverty level who often cannot afford nutritious food.

Consider that:

• A $50 raffle ticket provides a daily meal for 12 older adults.
• A $175 ticket to the Gala helps 43 older adults by providing one daily meal.
• Every $100 spent on an auction item provides a nutritious daily meal for 25 older adults.
