Malvern Bank, National Association welcomed the start of spring and the hearts of the communities it serves through volunteerism and giving back.

The bank has worked hard to develop a deeper understanding of what it can do to give back. It has been working to support the West Chester Food Cupboard’s mission to feed the homeless of Chester County.

With the help of Fiorenza’s Food for Friends (F4), Malvern Bank collected 400 pounds of food and made a monetary donation for each pound collected. F4 is a nonprofit that is taking unprecedented steps to eradicate hunger in America. It is creating “Hunger Awareness” with a strategic and innovative food recovery and production process.

The drive was held at Malvern Bank’s Financial Center offices. The bank’s employees and customers donated non-perishable food items.

Malvern Bank also organized a community “Egg Hunt” event for the residents of Coventry. Residents were able to enjoy crafts, refreshments, and music. Malvern provided a “Grow your Garden” table to teach community members about food insecurity and how to plant their own fruits and vegetables.

Throughout the year, Malvern Bank, National Association has been loyal to the hallmark of a community bank, as its staff members are actively involved in bettering the communities they serve, with the bank readily supporting their efforts.

Malvern Bank established a Community Development division in 2018 to focus on bringing businesses a wide variety of tailored products and services that meet their needs. Stop into one of the bank’s convenient Financial Centers to learn more.
