Pennsylvanians looking for a romantic partner are in luck, as the Keystone State is one of the best states for singles, according to recently published analysis by WalletHub.

To determine the ranking for 2019’s Best & Worst States for Singles, WalletHub compared the 50 states across three key areas: Dating Economics, Dating Opportunities, and Romance & Fun.

These were then evaluated using 28 metrics, such as share of single adults, gender balance of singles, online dating opportunities and participation, median household income, variety of restaurants, and number of entertainment venues.

Pennsylvania placed fifth on the list, having its best showing in Romance & Fun, where it checked in at No. 4. It also ranked highly for Dating Opportunities at No. 7.

However, Pennsylvania placed in the lower half, at 36th, of the Dating Economics category.

According to the list, the best state for singles is Florida, while the worst is West Virginia.
