Some of the best cheesesteaks in the region can be found right here in Delaware County, as one local eatery has made it onto Philadelphia magazine’s list of “30 Cheesesteaks to Eat Before You Die,” writes Jason Sheehan for the magazine.

Jim’s Steaks in Springfield boasts black-and-white tile, polished stainless steel, and beef always steaming on the grill.

Located at 469 Baltimore Pike, Jim’s Steaks, with its parking lot and shorter lines, has an advantage over its other locations in Philadelphia. It serves its customers some of the best classic cheesesteaks prepared any way they want them.

For cheesesteak lovers who want to head west to neighboring Chester County, John’s Pizza in Frazer and Hog Island Steaks in Phoenixville also made the list.
