Delaware County Community College Receives $850,000 Grant from CCRES

Delaware County Community College recently received an $850,000 grant from Downingtown-based CCRES, which will support the college’s participation with the Chester County Intermediate Unit at the Technical College High School Pennocks Bridge Campus.

Established in 1999, CCRES’s mission is to ensure quality education and human service programs for children, families, and schools. Through innovative partnerships, CCRES provides human resources, training, and grant opportunities on a regional basis.

Delaware County Community College’s continued partnership with the CCIU has resulted in tremendous educational opportunities for local residents.

The Pennocks Bridge Campus, located in southern Chester County, is a unique educational facility that provides career training and other educational services at both the secondary and post-secondary levels. Now entering its 11th year of operation, the school offers a wide range of quality programs and services that are affordable and accessible to southern Chester County and the surrounding area.
