Income Tax Specialist

This position prepares quarterly income tax provisions; prepares and files federal pro forma returns, combined state income tax returns, and separate state income tax returns; supports federal and state tax audits; and researches federal and state tax issues.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related discipline; four to six years of tax provision and tax compliance experience in a medium to large corporation; CPA or MST certification; and a strong background in tax accounting and research skills.

This position executes on assigned tasks and demo projects, including demo design, coding, testing, documentation, and support; coaches and mentors junior members of the team; and participates in demo development planning for various functional areas.

This position develops territory and account plans by leveraging all assets available to drive pipeline and close opportunities; prepares, updates, and maintains regular updates to the sales forecast and territory plan; and creates formal services proposals, RFP responses, and services contracts.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of seven years of sales experience, including generation and management of opportunities, bids, deal closure, and relationship management; experience selling in the financial services industry; and the ability to develop and maintain a territory plan.
