Chester’s Power Home Remodeling Takes #PhillyWantsLeBron Campaign Sky High

Chester-based Power Home Remodeling took its #PhillyWantsLeBron campaign sky high with three aerial billboards flying above Brooklyn ahead of the NBA Draft, writes Roberto Torres for Technical.ly Philly.

The remodeling services company was already in the news and went viral with a trio of billboards outside Cleveland. They called for LeBron James to drop the Cavaliers and join the Philadelphia 76ers.

“We knew the billboards in Cleveland were going to be a hit amongst our employees, but we never could have expected them to go so viral,” said Asher Raphael, co-CEO of Power Home Remodeling.

The billboard concept has since been copycatted in Los Angeles and New York, so the company wanted to find another way to turn things up a notch.

“We needed to do something new,” said Raphael, “and the NBA Draft offered us the perfect opportunity to use our creative in a new and exciting way.”

The company did not disclose the cost of the marketing push that left many New Yorkers puzzled, but one aerial advertising company put flight rates centered on specific events in the range of between $500 and $3,000 per plane.
