A number of companies in Philadelphia’s western suburbs offer a good office environment, but some of them stand out as the best places to work thanks to exceptional perks and philanthropic opportunities, writes Lisa Dukart for Main Line Today.
In Delaware County, those companies include Brinker Simpson and Villanova University.
The Springfield-based accounting firm throws parties for its employees during tax season to reduce stress. It also offers other perks, such as annual trips for employees and their families to Philadelphia Union games and New York City.

On Villanova’s idyllic campus, employees get perks to make their working and post-working hours easier. These include access to the campus gym, dining options, and the opportunity to take classes and get tuition reimbursement.
“We probably have more administrative staff that have master’s degrees because they can take classes,” said Kathy Byrnes, associate vice president for student life.
