Chadds Ford-Based Company That Collects Medical Payments Acquires Virginia Firm

Revint Solutions, a Chadds Ford-based company that collects medical payments, is acquiring Naveos, a firm in Virginia that offers government reimbursement technology and services for healthcare providers, writes Joseph DiStefano in the Philadelphia Inquirer.

This is the latest in a series of moves involving Revint.

Last December, New Mountain Capital, a New York investment firm, purchased control of Revint from Eir Partners, which is still a minority investor. New Mountain then merged Revint, which had been based in Chicago, with IMA Consulting, a medical-collections firm in Chadds Ford.

Chadds Ford became the business address of Revint and is where it has its largest number of employees (176). Its clients include more than 200 health systems in 48 states, including some of the largest hospital systems in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Revint chief executive Kyle Hicok said Naveos and Revint are complementary. Naveos offers a proprietary software that helps doctors and hospitals maximize the value of reimbursements from governmental programs like Medicare and Medicaid.
