Villanova University has the nation’s top online non-MBA business programs, according to latest data issued by U.S. News & World Report on the best online programs across the country, writes Marielle Mondon for PhillyVoice.

The ranking is based on factors like student engagement, admissions selectivity, peer reputation, faculty credentials and training, and student services and technology. More than 1,200 programs around the country were surveyed for the ranking.

Villanova came in first in Best Online Graduate Business Programs (Excluding MBA) with a perfect overall score.

One of the reasons Villanova ranked at the top is that its graduate business programs are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, which is the gold standard of business school accreditation.

Also, Villanova offers the nation’s only program that focuses on the specific issues facing church professionals on a regular basis with its Master of Science in Church Management program.

In addition to ranking at the very top for best online non-MBA business programs, Villanova also ranked 46th in Best Online Graduate Engineering Programs and 61st in Best Online MBA Programs.
