Nonprofit RSVP Honors Delaware County Volunteers

The nonprofit RSVP – which stands for Retired Senior Volunteer Program – honored the dedicated volunteers from Delaware County and their daily contributions to the community during a recent event at Wesley Enhanced Living in Media, according to a report from Delaware County News Network.

President’s Gold Volunteer Service Awards were presented to 14 volunteers who contribute more than 500 hours annually.

The recipients of this award were:

  • Beverly Benn of Media
  • Jo-Anna Campbell of Ridley Park
  • Shirley Carroll of Eddystone
  • Gretchen Deeck of Devon
  • Thomas McKelvey of Folsom
  • Bertie Ritchie of Folcroft
  • Dianne Roberts-Gibbs of Sharon Hill
  • Elizabeth Spraggans of Philadelphia
  • Vincenza Tribuiani of Wallingford
  • Arthur Weisen of Springfield
  • Betty Whitehead of Drexel Hill
  • Ruth Whitsett of Sharon Hill
  • Simsy Wilson of Lansdowne
  • Lois Yost of Crum Lynne

RSVP also presented certificates and pins to winners of the Senior Corps of PA Legacy Award.

Ginny Graham of Upper Darby was honored with the award posthumously.
