Delco Home to Best Public Elementary School in Pennsylvania

Ithan Elementary School of the Radnor Township School District took the top spot on Niche.com’s 2018 rating of the Best Public Elementary Schools in Pennsylvania.

The ratings are based on rigorous analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Ranking factors include state test scores, student-teacher ratio, student diversity, teacher quality, grade school ratings, and the overall quality of the school district.

The two other elementary schools in the Radnor Township School District – Radnor Elementary and Wayne Elementary – ranked fifth and eighth, respectively, higher than any other elementary school in Delaware County.

Coopertown Elementary School in the School District of Haverford Township checked in at No. 50 in the state.
