For Radnor’s VWR, business is doing well north of the border, and as a result, one of Canada’s most noteworthy charities is now the beneficiary.
Through its VWR Collection program, the world’s leading independent provider of products and services to laboratory and production facilities donated $35,000 to Toronto’s SickKids Foundation. The VWR Collection program annually donates up to $35,000 to a charitable organization based on its product sales in Canada.
“We are honored to once again support SickKids Foundation in their effort to make every kid a healthy kid,” said Nav Arora, VWR’s General Manager for Canada. “Our sales team is dedicated to making a difference and proud to help a worthy organization like SickKids.”
SickKids Foundation raises money on behalf of The Hospital for Sick Children, and is Canada’s biggest charitable source of funds for child health research, learning, and care. It’s also a major investor in health and scientific advancements that improve the lives of children and their families around the world.
Sarah Bywater, Manager of Corporate Partnerships for SickKids Foundation, thanked VWR for the amazing support it provides to the children and their families.
“Over the next decade, SickKids will continue to translate research into new cures and treatments, expanding the reach of our expertise,” she said. “VWR has helped us get to this exciting pinnacle at a very important time in our history.”
