Located in Chester, Widener University is a private university that connects curricula to social issues through civic engagement. Simulation Facilitator – School of Nursing

This position participates in the integration, development, and implementation of simulation scenarios. He/she maintains and updates documentation for record-keeping necessary for the compliant operation of the Center for Simulation. The person ensures that simulation laboratories are properly prepared for faculty and student utilization in a timely manner. He/she implements, runs, and debriefs scenarios.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and possess, or be working toward, a master’s degree in nursing. He/she will have a minimum of one year of clinical or lab experience. The person will have the demonstrated ability to interact effectively with students, support, professional staff, and faculty.

Area Coordinator

This position assists students in building an inclusive community to enhance personal and academic growth. He/she interacts with students, assesses their needs, and promotes community growth and development. The person maintains regular upkeep of facilities, including occupancy management, and follows up on maintenance requests to ensure a timely response to facility concerns. He/she supervises and trains Resident Assistant staff.

The ideal candidate will possess a master’s degree in student personnel, higher education administration, or a related field. He/she will have a minimum of one year of professional housing experience. The person will have strong administrative and supervisory skills. This is a full-year, live-in position.

Director of Client Success – Information Technology

This position develops, implements, and evaluates service goals and practices that support continuous improvement. He/she works with other ITS groups on the scheduling, development, testing, implementation, and deployment of new customer-facing services. The person supervises and coordinates the activities of the client success team and assists team members in reaching their potential performance levels and professional development goals.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and training. He/she will have a minimum of seven years of relevant, client-facing IT experience. The person will preferably have experience in a higher-education setting working with faculty, staff, and students.
